Hello - this is simply a blog for those interested in my exploits, discoveries, and thoughts while on my trip to Washington DC.

7/31 - I left my new home, the newly re-constructed academy now located in Griffith RI, along with my students, friends, and family. The flight was fine...arrived to rain filled skies...which is appropriate since it is the way I feel right now.

Yes, I am saddened to leave things behind in such a state (the school is now open and classes start in two weeks) but I left people in charge that can handle the various tasks required...but it is not the true reason I am -sad-.

Even at my age and position, I am still learning things...I just learned an important lesson of the heart, which usually is the most painful at times to cope with. But these are steps in the right direction...and we'll get through this.

8/1 - The classes and seminars are pretty dry and basic - but required - in order to get the proper regulations set for the new academy...and my role as headmistress. I am now reminded why some students complain about courses such as this...mental note - try to help prevent classes such as this at the academy.

This is simply a collection of my thoughts - needed someplace to write down what is unfolding before us just to keep it straight in my own mind.

A few days ago, I was approached by two FSBA agents telling me that we have seven days to turn over one of our own - Annalee Jones. The ' story' I got was that she is to dangerous for us to handle and that it was for everyone's best interest. Needless to say, that did not go over too well with myself as well as the rest of the school and faculty. I was tasked by the FSBA to ' convince' Ms Jones that this was in her best interests - WHATEVER.

Why me? Because I'm the newest faculty member? Because Anna is a close friend? Our just dumb luck? The first two make sense, the latter is moot for the government rarely does things randomly.

Olivia continues to grow, faster than "normal" she has exceeded the top one percentile in both physical and mental development. I have taken her to two "outside" doctors to keep her out of the Academy circles. I'm begining to think this is a meta-thing. Damn Reilly and his genetics..

Anna is in some sort of trouble. I'm heading to the school to get specifics but it being Anna its likely something big.. she never does anything small...Good or bad..
